CHAIRPERSON ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The role is a very important one as the Chairperson is the figure head of Leafield Athletic FC and is someone who represents the Club in a positive and professional manner.

The Chairperson shall maintain and develop LAFC Club strategy to ensure the Clubs future using personal expertise and experience and the views of LAFC Officers.

The Chairperson shall ensure the best interests of the Club are accounted for when dealing with Club Officers, Players Parents/Guardians, Players and Sponsors, Sporting Bodies and the local community.

 

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Chair the Club Managers meetings and AGM

• Uphold information issued by the Club.

• Ensure that the club provides a safe and friendly environment for players to enjoy football

• Provide strong leadership and guidance to steer the club forward

• Work with all Club officers to provide information on the running of the club

• Encourage continued development of all Club officials

• Provide information, instruction, and feed back to all members in a constructed manner.

• Develop the club and position the Club to achieve its goals and objectives.

• Complete required Football Association Courses for the position of Chairperson.
